Joining us on Truly Medicine is Karen Brown.

Karen lives in Oklahoma and has had many mishaps

in her life dealing with health issues.

About five years ago basal cell carcinoma stepped up to its turn with Karen.

This has resulted in a partial removal from her scalp.

Basal cell carcinoma is a type of skin cancer

that begins in a type of cell within the skin

that produces new skin cells as old ones die off

.

It occurs most often on areas of the skin that are exposed to the sun

...such as your head and your neck.

Now Melanoma on the top of her leg hasn’t helped much,

and Karen has been suffering through a battle with a

“bad vape” issue this year.

Today on Truly Medicine Sami Diffee is joining us. Sami has struggled with undiagnosed GI problems from about the age of 10. Additionally, she has struggled with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, self-harm, eating disorders, suicidal tendencies and more for as long as she can remember.

Sami has also overcome addictions and attributes most of her well being to her medical cannabis use.
