Jessie Smith is the Executive Assistant to the Chancellor of Oaksterdam University.
She joins us today on Truly Medicine Podcast to talk about her journey and how she became a part of this cannabis community.
She has committed her life and surrounding environment to a clean continuous living situation and is on a journey that leads her to helping others within the cannabis industry.
Jessie figured out years ago that in order to help oneself you must first look at oneself and really ask the question of whether or not something is good for your growth and then act upon that intuition.

Ben and Betty are educators that moved to Oklahoma several years ago to start their family farm.
Many things happen along the path. of our life. Some of them lead us to helping others and light a fire of passion which may have once seemed forgotten.
They were gracious enough to allow Josh and James into their kitchen for some home brewed coffee and some real talk about cannabis as medicine.
Join us as we go on the road and learn from the great folks at 4 B’s Growers in Prague, Oklahoma.
Born and raised in Midwest City, Oklahoma, Tiffanie Marie is a mom of two adult children.
One of which is on the Autism Spectrum.
16 years ago Tiffanie was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.
Due to the pain of the disease she eventually developed an opiate addiction. 6 years go by and Tiffanie decides to stop this addiction cycle and quit cold turkey. Cannabis was the answer to that. Not only did she quit the opiates, she started working in kitchens and worked her way up to corporate/head chef for a few places.
She became an advocate for Oklahoma SQ788 and was even on the television commercials to promote the vote.
Today Tiffanie runs White Rabbit Medicinals and knows a bit about how to make some premium grub.

Today on the podcast we have Cassi Selby.
Not long ago Cassi was injured during a medical procedure.
When some of her friends spoke with her Cassie truly believed she was killing herself one pill at a time. The pain that she endured kept Cassi tied to an epidural while doctors tried to figure some things out. Three years later she was helped by loved ones to obtain her medical card in Oklahoma. With one single dosage of a concentrate she was able to see what life she has missed out on because of legality issues and the ability to choose the proper medication for herself.
Now Cassi is pain free. She is an outstanding advocate and influencer within the cannabis community.
She has helped raise funds and more funds for Cancer research centers.
