This week is an episode that's really special for us for many reasons. One being that we personally went through our own body image issues and we still do to this day. Some days are better than others, but we are always trying to better ourselves, our mindset, and trying to not let it affect us because at the end of the day, the way YOU view yourself is the most important. When you finally accept your body and appreciate it for what it does, no ones opinion will affect you more than your own.

This week we're diving a little deeper into who we are, but more importantly on our love languages. We think it's super important to know your love language because it says a lot about who you are to your friends, significant other, family, etc.

Aging is a funny concept that we think society has a lot to do with how we view it. This week we had a very casual conversation that involved aging and age gap relationships among other topics involving age (duh). We literally decided on this topic 3 seconds before we hit record so everything we said was really off the tongue and unfiltered. By the time you guys hear this episode our birthdays passed, but we recorded this before our birthdays so we had a little bit of a self discovery, contemplating our life, reevaluating ourselves type of moment. lol. A lot of people differ wether they really care about their birthdays or they don't, personally, (jenny does), but we also have identity realization/crisis's and you'll hear it during this episode.

Happy Monday and happy Labor day! hopefully some of you guys are enjoying the long holiday weekend :) 

This weeks episode, we're talking about relationships, but not just love. We're talking about friends and family too. Since Covid-19, we've really had the chance to bond with our closest friends and family on a deeper level than before. We take the relationships in our lives very seriously because  healthy relationships = better mental health. Obviously there is a lot more that goes into mental health, but the people you surround yourself with on the daily play a big part in who you are, how you act, how you feel, etc.

This week we have another special guest on our podcast, Jason Sooksengdao. We go way back to high school and he's been such a constant light in our life. He's the type of person that makes the best of every situation and tries to live life with no regrets. This week we talked very casually about his study abroad trip to South Korea, his $800 facial treatment, changing majors, and making the best of a global pandemic. 

 It's no secret that Miss Rona has been a pain in the a** for everyone, some worse than others. When we say "make the best of a global pandemic," we mean that despite miss rona, you can still be productive and find the good moments in all of it. The one thing all of us can do is continue to do our part (wear your masks) and stay hopeful.

In this weeks episode we chatted with our friend Cameron Cirino and learned a little bit about her passion for vintage/thrifted shopping and how her online vintage apparel business 2:22 Vintage Apparel came to be. We talked about sustainable fashion, navigating social media as an up and coming "influencer," ( we used air quotes because that's a fairly tricky term, but it does the job) and how she's using her passion for thrifting to raise awareness on sustainability issues among other things.
