For 40 years, labor activists have gathered to celebrate the labor movement through the arts at the Labor Heritage Foundation’s Great Labor Arts Exchange, which takes place June 15-18 in Linthicum Heights, MD this year. On today’s show, we hear what former AFL-CIO president Richard Trumka -- who died in 2021 – had to say about the importance of the arts to the labor movement.
