The Trump administration has officially rescinded a nearly 16-year-old scientific finding that greenhouse gas emissions threaten public health and welfare a move that impacts most federal climate and air pollution regulations.
Scientists and public health experts say the evidence linking climate change to health hazards like heat-related illness, worsened air quality, and infectious disease spread is worsening.
