The U.S. will not give up. Iran must not have any nuclear capabilities. Xi helped make Iran the monster that it is today by arming them to the teeth and through the purchase of 90% of Iran’s oil. Xi gave them weaponry through a space satellite system. Xi gave them money denominated in Chinese Yuan. Now he’s unhappy because the Strait of Hormuz is closed and the oil has disappeared. But don’t expect Xi to give us much help with Iran.
