The Department of Justice (DOJ) under the Trump administration has indicted former FBI Director James Comey for a second time, charging him with threatening the life of President Donald Trump.
The two-count indictment, unsealed on April 28, 2026, in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, focuses on a social media post Comey made in May 2025.
