    In the middle of the earth's paradise, Dal Lake is a treat to the eye and located in Srinagar. Famous as the lake of flowers, Jewel in the crown of Kashmir, etc., this lake has a 15 km long shoreline. This lake completely freezes in winters once the temperature falls below -11C.

    This is a unique bridge which is made up of roots of an Indian rubber tree near Cherrapunji. Made around 200 years ago, this is 3 km long and is double-decker i.e. has two levels to the bridge.

    Unakoti Ruins are a great place for kids to see as they are often considered to be a wonder in forests. About 8 km away from the nearby town, they have huge rock cut sculptures and are considered to be ruins of a pilgrimage site from the 8th or 9th century and associated with Lord Shiva. And we achieve this by hopping on to a journey that takes us across different States and Union territories of our vast and culturally rich country.
