God is wealthy because he created everything, and that everything also belongs to him. Since he is rich and the blessing source, surely he would not desires anyone to suffer poverty. However, it is a fact that many people do suffer from poverty and living with insufficient food and medical care. Is it God's fault to abandon his children and leave them to suffer the excruciating pains of poverty? No way, God forbids it.
Christians contemplate that since Jesus Christ was poor on earth, so we should suffer poverty lacking in daily supply. In the Bible, God clearly stated that it was not his will for anyone to be total poverty, and also not to be extremely rich either.
Why did God create all the wealth of the world? For one reason, to distribute to everyone equally so we would lacking in nothing because God does not withhold any good from his children, but he desires to bless us willingly.
Any earthy father would not withhold good things from his children, let alone our Heavenly Father. Otherwise, God is not as holy as he claimed in the Bible, compared to any parents.
And it is immoral for an earthy father who is rich, withhold support from his children. Therefore, God is obligated and must keep the promises in the Bible to give us anything that benefits us. As a result, it is very normal to request any need from God and expect he will intervene in our situation.
Jesus Christ teaches us that the heavenly father is much more of love, full of compassion, gracious, and generous God than any benevolent person. Then, why many Christians are in unfulfilling life and lack needs? Because they don't pray to God with persistence and believe his righteous character, and they also have a rebellious spirit in them.
We should be alerted that Love of money is the root of evil and possess excessive wealth is a sin. Therefore, if we have the complete supply of food and clothing sufficiently, we should freely distribute the excess to anyone who needs it. If we keep it to ourselves and lust for more pleasure, then we have sinned the idolatry and sin of covetous. God will judge the extremely rich because they are too lustful and not caring for the poor.
Finally, God also stated in the Bible teaching us to be gratified when we have enough food and clothing.
