Trust is something you already have.
It’s not something you earn or wait for. It’s there, and you can choose to use it.
When you don’t use trust, it shows up in really normal ways. You second guess yourself. You ask for opinions because you’re unsure, not because you’re curious. You look for validation. You wonder if there’s a better way and feel like you’re missing it. You hesitate, overthink, and feel a little stuck.
Nothing has gone wrong when that happens. That’s just what it looks like when trust isn’t being used.
A simple way to see that you already have trust is driving. You get in the car and go. You don’t question every move. You don’t freeze at every turn. You trust yourself to handle what comes up.
That same trust is available in the rest of your life.
When you use trust, things feel different. You enjoy where you are, even while working toward something more. You make decisions more clearly. You don’t need everyone to understand you. You check in with yourself instead of looking outside for answers. You move forward without all the extra confusion.
It’s not about doing it perfectly. It’s about practicing.
You can practice trust in small ways throughout your day. Making a decision and sticking with it. Listening to what you need. Following through on something you said you would do.
The more you practice, the more natural it feels.
Trust grows with use.
And over time, it becomes something you don’t have to think about. It’s just how you live.
