2021 is here, and I am excited to get the most out of each day as I possibly can. I was reading an amazing book entitled, Eve in Exile: The Restoration of Femininity by Rebekah Merkle. I was sharing what I was learning when my husband came up with our family focus for this year.  Storm The Gates!

Prayer is often a very ignored topic when it comes to spiritual growth. Not by everyone, but by some. I often read about knowing your purpose, discover spiritual gifts, 100 ways to identify your purpose, and those types of things. But I believe that any blood-bought believer of Jesus Christ needs to be praying like never before.

Stay out of your own head. When life happens it is all too easy to assume rather than talk. I have too many times played right into satans hands as a mouthpiece for his lies, and I hope to encourage you to give no place to the devil in yours. Allow the Word of God to be like a clashing cymbal in your lives alerting you of another try of the enemy to fill in the blanks instead of asking a friend what their last post or text meant.
