In this episode we have the pleasure of interviewing Ben Larson on the show, and Ben is the CEO of Vertosa.

Benjamin Larson is the CEO of Vertosa, the cannabis and hemp infusion technology company that creates industry-leading active ingredients and services for infused cannabis beverages across all legal markets. 

Ben is also the host of the Marijuana Today podcast; he's an active investor, adviser, and board member with companies inside and out of the cannabis industry; and he's a recipient of ATACH's Beverage Executive of the Year award and was recognized by Forbes in 2022 as one of the 42 pioneers to watch in the green rush.

Ben shares that he and his company only 1 CORE VALUE for the first few years, and this 1 core value was the basis that the entire company was built on.  And it paid off.  Employees and customers alike aligned and responded to this 1 central theme - TRUST.  

Ben shares that the brand foundation is what has allowed Ben to have a team of highly engaged and empowered employees that are able to make important decisions without having to refer to Ben.  His team knows they are trusted and it pays off in higher levels of creativity, autonomy and production.

Ben also shares how a lack of ego in the workplace is also key to their teams success.
