Trust Me, It's Good!

On this episode of TMIG, we're getting into some pop music, just like what the kids listen to!

Aidan is reminding us that after that AWFUL ad, Maroon 5 are actually a good band, while Kevin is creeped out, but enjoying the sounds of LANY.

Plus, Pancakes is a terrible nickname for your girlfriend, and learn all about Cork's biggest Maroon 5 tribute band!

Join Kevin and Aidan for a podcast where we bring things we like to our metaphorical table and say "trust me, it's good!"

This week, our thumbs have been busy as we're chatting about some games we've recently played. Kevin is seeing how the Pokémon series is holding up with Pokémon Sun, and Aidan has two great action adventure games (with some twists) with Batman: The Telltale Series and Just Cause 3.

Plus, why 3D is a gimmick that needs to end, there's just too many damn Pokémon now, and we finally discuss trickle-down economics.

On this special edition of TMIG, we chat to American singer-songwriter Karl Blau!

Following the success of 'Introducing Karl Blau' in 2016, Karl released 'Out Her Space' at the end of 2017 and has been touring solo since. Before his gig in Dublin, TMIG spoke with him about his life as a musician, his influences growing up in the Pacific Northwest, and how to write an anti-war song to the tune of the Macarena.

Happy New March everybody! TMIG returns with some excellent 2018 music for you.

We rock out with our socks out with Don Broco's newest album Technology, and after that we slow down to a steady, smooth funk from Khruangbin and their latest album Con Todo El Mundo.

Plus, there's creepy album artwork, music for air travel, and Kevin has a life-changing encounter at a concert...
