The history of Mental Health and Treatments. This first in a series is the introduction to mental illness and the treatments over several centuries. We have come a long way since the 1800s but there is still so much that can be and should be done.

For many of us, mental illness is treated as taboo. We are ridiculed, shunned, abused and thrown away. In this series, I am here to tell you YOU ARE WORTH IT. YOU ARE LOVED. YOU ARE PERFECT.

Today we chat with my friend, rapper, singer, and actor, Alan Z. Based out of Atlanta, GA, his smooth transition from singing into rap and back again is just one of the reasons I am a huge fan. Alan is a down to earth gentleman and has taken what life has taught him and turned into a budding musical career and acting career.
