We can count on working hard in this life, and that life is not always fair. We also know that there will be moments in this life when situations will arise that will literally drive us to our knees in prayer. As we look at Jacob's life beginning when he left his home to travel to his Uncle's home in another region, we begin to discover certain behaviors that seem to run in his mother's family. Behaviors that seem to indeed to run in Jacob himself. We all learned from our parents how to do life. However, some of us had great families, while others did not. We all learned something from those who cared and raised us as children. We learned good things, but we also had to learn things that maybe we should never had to be exposed to.
