Knowing who you were created to be is the beginning of finding the purpose, or purposes, for which God created you. If you are struggling, wondering, or needing some confirmation concerning the "meaning of your life", listen to this episode and find some encouragement and direction.

How do you find purpose in life? What is your motivation to live each day knowing you're right where you're supposed to be? This is a good time of year to rethink and refocus as you look to the new year ahead. Get in line with God's will for your life so that you can live with peace, joy and confidence that you are fulfilling the purpose that He created you.

If we don't forgive those who have hurt us, we lose a certain capacity to love. We can't enjoy the abundant life that God has for us if we are not choosing love no matter what we experience in this broken world. In today's episode, I read some thoughts on this topic from one of my favorite Christian authors, Francis Frangipane. King David was a man known for pursuing God, yet there were times when he wrote about not sensing God with him or wondering why God wasn't answering his prayers. Every person who lives a life of faith and trusting God will go through times when they can relate to King David in this way. Sometimes we may need to stop and remember the last time that we sensed God in our life and remind ourselves of the goodness of God. If you're like many people right now, you might be getting anxious about what you see happening in the world around you. Listen to this episode for some encouraging insight on adjusting your perspective so that you won't be a "blinky" light in the darkness around you. No matter what we each go through in this life, we know as children of God that our hope is NOT in the things of this world but in the promise of things to come. Let's make that our anchor and help others know they can have that hope too!

Most people who say they believe in God may still struggle with living a life of faith because they really don't TRUST God. The truth is that our interactions with humans can be a stumbling block to our fully trusting God. Listen to this episode as I explore some possibilities of why we don't trust God and why we should trust God no matter what.

Understanding that life was never meant to be "perfect" is important when we are learning to trust God in all things. The scripture says that we make our plans, but God directs our steps. This means that we need to trust him when things go differently than we expected or hoped. This is indeed hard when the suffering element is involved.
