In Revelation 1:9–10, John introduces us to the circumstances surrounding the vision he is about to receive. In Revelation 1:5–8, we are reminded of the great love of Jesus Christ, who washed us from our sins in His own blood and made us kings and priests unto God. John then turns our attention to the glorious return of Christ—He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him.
