These dear people are taught to cling to this fiction instead of to the resurrection of the dead in Jesus Christ, which is the context of 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. These same deceived souls think they are focusing on Jesus, but in reality, they have been taught to amputate the Lord from all their favorite end-times Scripture passages.
