There is always something competing for your attention and when we allow ourselves to get distracted, it’s easy for us to find ourselves on the wrong side of wisdom also known as foolishness. An appetite is something that you can easily take for granted until you lose it. As you may or may not know, I was sick last week and one of the big symptoms that I had was I completely lost my appetite. If you know me, you know I generally don’t have any issues eating but last week I had to force myself to eat something. A week later and 10 pounds lighter I’m feeling better but I’m challenged to take this opportunity to recalibrate my appetite because I know how important diet is for a healthier me. For today’s passage I’m going to cheat a bit because we are going to read through end of the chapter but I really want to focus on a single verse.

As I have been researching and studying this book of Proverbs, I almost forgot it was written by King Solomon. His wisdom and riches have been known throughout history through many many countries, across many lands.
