Featured in TIR Episode 323 (Part 1 of 2): Cheryl James, a former road manager and background singer – beginning in the 1970s – within the Parliament-Funkadelic organization. She was responsible for looking after Parlet and the Brides of Funkenstein during their U.S. and overseas tours and press appearances. James also worked Parliament-Funkadelic's 1979-1980 tour and added vocals to several P-Funk recordings.

She also shares her early experience working for the Temptations' Dennis Edwards and later in life working for actress Janet Leigh.
