In today’s episode I interview therapist Fabrice Nye, who participated as an adherence rater during the recent phase 2 trials for using MDMA to treat treatment resistant PTSD.
I wanted to have Fabrice on the show because I’m absolutely fascinated with research coming out that shows several psychedelics and substances that are schedule 1 drugs according to the US government actually show huge potential to help millions of people suffering from things like PTSD, depression, and more.
In this interview Fabrice talks about:
- What is special about this most recent scientific study on psychedelic assisted therapy that allowed it to get further in the approval process than any other study of its kind
- How psychedelics were used in therapy before they became criminalized
- Why MDMA is not considered by many to be a psychedelic
- The pharmaceutical company that created MDMA originally
- The shockingly good phase 2 results of this study
- How MDMA assisted therapy is working to significantly help treatment resistant PTSD where therapy and traditional pharmaceuticals don’t
- The specifics steps during a psychedelic assisted therapy session
- The possible use of MDMA in couples therapy
- And much more

In today’s episode I interview nutritionist and biohacker Brittany Ford... She’s a Registered Holistic Nutritionist focusing on supporting gut, hormonal, and skin health through nutrition and biohacking. She’s been on a wild health journey for over 11 years, healing from leaky gut syndrome, candida, parasites, dysbiosis, and hormonal imbalances. She’s also the host of her own podcast, Biohacking with Brittany.
I wanted to have Brittany on the show because I’m super passionate about health, I’m thinking about launching by own health podcast and I’ve been experimenting with various biohacks myself the last few months, including working with Gwyneth Paltrow’s functional medicine doctor, taking a ridiculous amount of supplements, wearing blue block glasses a night, and more.
In this interview Brittany talks about platelet-rich plasma therapy (known as PRP) and how it can potentially help folks, her personal experience with red light therapy, why free biohacks might be better than spending money on supplements and techy devices, her nighttime routine including the use of blue blocker glasses, cold water therapy, goat butter in coffee, saunas and much more.
Enjoy.

In today’s episode I interview Ellen Shiro who is a counseling psychologist and marriage and family therapist. She has been using the model of Nonviolent Communication, known as “NVC” and developed by Dr. Marshall Rosenberg, in her practice for over 25 years to help individuals, couples, and families. Ellen focuses on how to translate language of judging and shaming to language of mutual understanding and clear requests
I wanted to have Ellen on the show because I kept hearing well-respected thought leaders communicating in ways that I thought distorted the truth even though they had good intent. It was about the language they were using that reinforced views of ourselves as victims rather than as authors of our own lives. I kept thinking to myself if they only knew NVC it’d be so much better so I was really happy when Ellen agreed to come on the show.
In this interview we talk about:
- How to avoid the pitfalls of being too nice
- How to handle difficult people in a way that’s a true win/win for everyone
- How to talk to your partner in a way that builds connection and prevents unnecessary conflict without being a doormat
- How to handle people that talk more than we like
- And much more

In today’s episode I interview dream coach Cordell Jacks, who has been doing dream work for over 20 years. He teaches people how to access and utilize the "2 most important hours of their day"....those spent dreaming. Cordell coaches people in night-time dream work practices.
I wanted to have Cordell on the show because I’ve been interested in dreaming for some time, especially lucid dreaming and dreams that tell the future, known as pre-cognitive dreams.
In this interview we talk about using dreams to rehearse things in real life like public speaking, why feeling may be more “real” than thinking, using dreams to control the subconscious stories that may be creating our problems, how to improve dream recall, and much more.
Enjoy.
