Today we continue our study verse by verse through the gospel of Matthew. Jesus has been arrested and is in the court of the religious council. They have no respect for the truth. They just want Jesus to be executed. Meanwhile, Peter is in the courtyard listening to the proceedings. He refuses to stand up for the truth. He seems worried about his own safety.
