Season 2: Episode 4 – Dead to Sin

In episode 4 of Season 2, we are finally diving deep into Romans 6, and about the present and glorious reality of how when we were baptized into Christ and we were born again: we truly died with Christ, and resurrected with Christ. His death and resurrection was also our death and resurrection. We have an old self and an old identity that as crucified with Him, and we are truly dead to sin. And we have a new self and new identity that was resurrected with Him. We died to sin with Christ, and we rise and live for righteousness with Christ.

In this special episode, and finale of season 1, I tell one of my most cherished testimonies from my evangelism missions. This is the story about a homeless man in Chicago named William, and the miraculous unfolding of what God did! This is the Gospel of the Kingdom in action, and the fruit that truth produces in the life of a believer.

Episode 12 - Ephesians 4:29-5:2: Gospel Love. In this episode, we continue our journey in Ephesians 4 and see where it leads. Beautiful passage about our call to imitate God and live out His likeness that we were made in. Also touches on several great things: repentance, not letting any unwholesome things proceed from our mouths but only things that edify, not grieving the Holy Spirit by living less than our design and calling, putting away all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, slander, and malice, and instead truly forgiving others with the forgiveness God has given us. And walking in the Gospel Love of Christ that is selfless and lays down its life, and our call to live our life as a sacrifice and fragrant aroma to God.

In this episode, I do something new and I simply pick a random passage and jump right in and see where it leads us. And this one leads us into exploring the subjects of our new selves in Christ and the holiness of the truth.

In episode 10, I start to wrap up the subjects we've been digging into as I dive more into the realities of obedience and God's grace that empowers and transforms. And this time around I examine the reality that grace is given to make us fully able to walk in obedience to commandments, and to go and sin no more.

In Episode 9 Grace That Transforms, we continue on our journey that we've been on and focus in on Gods grace and how scipture shows us that Gods grace transforms us and empowers us to walk in His Commandments. Grace absolutely never enables or allows sin, grace empowers righteousness and walking in the truth.

In episode 7, we continue on the journey we began in the last episodes. And in this one, we dive into the scriptures and the reality that the bible says that being cleansed of our past sins produces the qualities of Christ and holiness is the fruit of righteousness. We are free indeed!
