Anger is like a fire! It is energy and power. Energy and power that can be used for good, or for wrong. Fire can be used for amazing things like killing bacteria in our food and water, keeping us warm in the winter, and it makes a wonderful place to sit around and sing praises to our King! But there is another side to fire. Fire can be dangerous and destructive, even deadly. When fire is out of control it is scary!

Anger is very similar. There is a time and place for anger. There is even such a thing as righteous anger. We see righteous anger when our Savior, Jesus, cleanses the temple in John 2:13-17. We also see it when God is calling Moses to speak to Pharoah, and tell him to let the Hebrews go in Exodus 4:10-14. Another Scripture that the apostle Paul wrote says this, "Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil." Ephesians 4:26-27 esv. There is a right time and place for anger.

The other side to anger is the dangerous, destructive, and even deadly side! When anger is out of control it can cause hurt and pain, it can fracture or sever relationships and it can lead to very bad decisions due to one not being able to think straight. 

We must have our anger, and all of our emotions for that matter, under control: self-control, which is one of the fruit of the Spirit we read about in Galatians 5:22-24.

• The misconception and misunderstanding that all anger is bad, or even sinful.

• Avoiding the dangerous side of anger
• Self-control is essential to keep anger under our control
• God's people are called to be "slow to anger" James 1:19-20, Proverbs 14:29, Proverbs 16:32, Proverbs 15:18, Proverbs 19:11, Ecclesiastes 7:9. Being "slow to anger" reflects our self-control
• Christians are to be lights by being self-controlled and not allowing our anger to injure or destroy. We can also be lights by being angry and standing up against evil!

Anger is something that many, many people struggle with. I hope that this episode offers some insight on the subject and sheds some light on the Truth of anger!

Witchcraft, magic and sorcery are scary things to be messing with, but are they even a problem in today's day and age?

Well, my friend, Simeon and I talk about how we can see the practice of witchcraft and sorcery even today!

These magic, evil arts date back to ancient times. It has evolved and taken on new names throughout the ages, but the roots remain the same: the roots are found in the devil, satan.

The people who are parts of these crafts, guilds and secret societies put on a good front and want the society to see one thing in the light, but what they don't want us to see is what they practice in the dark. The members who are in these groups worship, none other than satan!

Simeon and I talk about:

• Witchcraft and sorcery in the Bible, and what God says about it
• Wicca, and the Wiccan religion and the evils that lie in the shadows of this demonic religion
• Freemasonry, the secrets they try to hide and the way they also worship the devil
• How these evil people expose themselves by posing and taking pictures while doing certain hand gestures or symbols
• An encouraging story found in Acts 19, where many people turn from their witchcraft to live a new life unto God!

Be careful digging into some of these things too much because what you will see is quite nasty and disturbing. We don't know the full story of what they do behind closed doors because they don't want people to see and know. The question is What are they hiding?

I am dying. I am running out of time. You are dying. You are running out of time. Every day we get closer to the end of the line that God has set for us on this earth. Every day the earth gets closer to it's end as well.

In this episode we will talk about the importance of time. 

     - Time is not money. Time is different from money, and it is more valuable than
        money!
     - If you are not a Christian, yet, then time is literally of the essence! You really
       need to take time seriously because your decisions will directly affect where
       you spend eternity: in heaven with God, or in hell apart from Him!
     - Time is short (Psalm 144:4, Psalm 39:4-6, James 4:13-17). We don't have a
        whole lot of it, but that shouldn't be a discouragement, but, rather an
        encouragement. 
     - John 9:4 and 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11, we need to use our time wisely while it is
       day, while we have time.
     - The most encouraging part of the episode is found in Esther 4:12-14. God has
       made you and I with purpose, meaning, and reason! He has a purpose for your
       life, He made you with meaning, and you made you for a reason! 

Perhaps, He made you for such a time as this!

We must take seriously the little time that God gives us on this earth, for it will run out one day!

The 4th of July, Independence day. What an important day in the history of this country and in the world!

Here in the United States, we Americans use the words Independence and Freedom a lot! And, it seems that at times we use them interchangeably, like they are the same thing. In this episode we will discuss how they are actually quite different... and interestingly enough, I'm going to argue in this episode that Independence is not a good thing.

Independence leads to slavery. Dependence upon God leads to Freedom.

What is success? What pictures come to your mind, and how would you define it?

In this episode, we will talk about what actual success is, and, more importantly, Who gets to define it.

The dictionary definition of success is the accomplishment of an aim or purpose. Who gets to decide what the aims, purposes, and goals should be for a human being? I would argue that it is our Designer. He made us, so He gets to tell us the right way to live; how to be successful.

This is the first episode in a 3 part series on success. Today we discuss maybe the most important part about human success: loving God, loving others as ourselves, seeking God and seeking His Kingdom first! 

We can all live successful lives if we would read the life giving words found in God's Word, the Bible! Every single person on the earth that lives by our Creator's precepts and ways will lead a successful life no matter what life, evil, the darkness, other people, or Satan try to throw at them!

Deuteronomy 31:6 - "Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will never leave you or forsake you."

Joshua 1:9 - "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."

Where has COURAGE gone? What has happened to it? What has happened to the COURAGEOUS men and women of old?

COURAGE is far from dead, but it is hurting, it is rare, and it is needed!

This dark and dangerous world is full of broken, afraid and hurting people. God's people have an incredible opportunity to shine God's light by displaying this honorable attribute!

Aren't introductions so important? Think about your favorite movie, tv show, book, sermon, or even relationship. Wasn't the first impression crucial? 

Introductions are supposed to hook us into sticking around, whether that be in a movie, book, or even a relationship, and despite the bad rap a "hook" might get, sometimes hooks are good, especially when you are getting hooked into something that will be good for you! Many things in this life contain an introduction, body and conclusion and it is the introduction where most people decide whether they are going to stick around for the body and conclusion, or not.
