Recently a seminar was held at UTS Sydney called Truth-Telling and News Media. The event had a range of speakers talking about the issues and cultural awareness needed for our media to conduct truth-telling about indigenous peoples and the aftermath of colonialism. The seminar was facilitated by Dr Archie Thomas who is the Chancellor's Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UTS. Panelists were Lorena Allam, Indigenous Affairs Editor, The Guardian Australia; Associate Professor Inker-Anni Sara, Sámi University of Applied Sciences; Professor Eli Skogerbo, Department of Media and Communication, University of Oslo
