We are to put on it says, we are to clothe ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bare with each other and forgive whatever grievences you may have against one another. To bear with someone is to endure, to put up with their irritations!

If we try to live a new life without understanding our new identity, we're merely following a religion. Trying to live up to some do's and dont's. The bible does not present Christianity as just another religion; just an elevated sense of do's and dont's! It's a whole new relationship!

Jesus said, "I'm the true vine. My Father is the vine dresser." Every branch in me that does not bare fruit is lifted out of the dirt and is put up on the tressle. Why? Because what Jesus wants out of His branches is fruitfulness! You know, Jesus wants to fill your life with joy and peace and love more than you even want it!

Jesus Christ is the focus! He is the source of authentic spiritual life! He is the source of authentic spiritual life! He is the source of a true relationship with God! He is the way to be connected to God! He is the way to experience a fulfilled, abundant and fruitful life!

Isaiah is telling us here in Isaiah chapter 40 that God is bigger than anything we can imagine. He knows everything! He has all power! He is everywhere! He has no equal! He has infinite resources! He can do anything He wills to do!

Everyone is on a spiritual journey! Some of us realise it! Some of us don't even know it! But every person is on a spiritual journey! And Jesus used parables to speak to people wherever they might be in their journey to move them to take the next step!

Everybody here is on a spiritual journey. So whether you would identify yourself as someone who is already a Christ follower, someone who is in the process of becoming a Christ follower, or someone who is not a Christ follower at all. Your heart is soil into which the seed of God's message is being sown.

Believers are secure in their salvation because of the unconditional love of God!

There is for the believer in Jesus Christ, the promise, the hope, the reality of blessed assurance!

We've been made alive with Christ! We've been raised up with Christ! We've been seated with Christ! We share in our relationship with Jesus Christ His authority! We have the authority of Jesus Christ to win the spiritual battle!
