Each one should use whatever gift he's received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms! We're to use our gifts to serve others, that's the purpose! God didn't give us gifts to just kind of say, I have these gifts! He's given us spiritual gifts so that we can use them!

I glorified you by doing what you called me to do! That should be the aspiration of every follower of Jesus Christ! Because that's the meaning of life! That's why we're here! That's the point of life! Glorifiying God! And remember, when we give ourselves to that, when we pursue that, we find our greatest joy!

When our lives, the totality of our lives; our marriages, our parenting, going to kids soccer games and little league games, working through paying the bills and maintaining the house and going on vacation and coming to church and everything about life, when all of our lives reflect who God really is!

We find our greatest joy when we pursue God's greatest glory!

You see obedience ultimately is the acid test of our relationship with Jesus Christ. There are many people who can say a whole lot of stuff, but it's when we obey that we demonstrate the true conviction of our faith!

It only takes a simple reading of scripture to realize that God is looking for men! He's looking for men to follow Him and love Him and serve Him and be the spiritual leaders He has designed them to be in the home, in the church and in the culture at large! God is looking for men!

In the family unit, the marriage relationship is to be supreme and have priority and mom and dad need to be on the same page! Then kids can come and be blessed and grow into Godly adults!

And every family since the original family is affected with this blaming mechanisim. When something goes wrong in the family, when something goes wrong in the marriage there is an instinctive response to blame! To blame the spouse, to blame the kids and when you can't do that any longer, blame the dog! You blame somebody!

Do you know God has a lot to say about this whole dynamic of relationship about how we're to be in relationship with the opposite sex. In fact, it may come as a surprise to some of you, but God dreamed up with the whole idea of sex!

Selfishness is a barrier to God's design; to God's definition for a marriage!
