Some of you may remember the movie “Groundhog Day” starring Bill Murray. The plot was based on the same day repeating over and over again. Each new day was the same day as before. Oftentimes, today's conservative news cycle feels just about the same. When do we break free? When will there be real change?

Over the past few years, putting together the news is a game of “Lather, Rinse, and Repeat.” Same players, same scandals, same outcomes, just a different day. For many, it’s the most exciting thing of the day. For Christians, it should be concerning, not so much what’s in the news, but for how the news dominates your life. It’s time to call the news what it has become. Rage Porn.

For many in the news media, their legacy will be a litany of lies and deception all done for the cause of fame, fortune, and evil. For many politicians, their legacy will be the total compromise and corruption they hid from the public, often with the help of the legacy media. What about the legacy of many in the legal profession who abandoned honesty and integrity? At that final judgement, what will their final legacy be? And for you, as you traverse this life, what legacy will you leave behind? Bob starts the conversation on that and more on today’s episode.

From covering up Joe Biden’s cognitive issues, lying about the economy, lying about COVID, lying about the COVID vaccine, lying about the border, lying about what transgenderism really is, to selling out to an evil agenda, people are waking up and no longer putting their trust in the legacy media. Their numbers are crashing. Their respect is in the toilet, yet they watch their audience leave in droves and fail to correct their fake news. Today, Bob shares a vision for finding truth in news.

As “Truth to Ponder” approaches 5 years of daily broadcasting, it is becoming clear that there needs to be a major change of direction. The foundation of COVID and the Biden era is behind us. Now is the time for us to use this opportunity, not to fixate on politics, but to redouble our efforts for the truth of Jesus Christ.

From news media personalities to politicians, truth is just a disposable commodity that can be ignored for an agenda or for personal gain. Truth is for sale, even for many global corporations. Does truth even matter anymore? Is everything now just relevant? Can you still find truth? Bob shares his thoughts on truth and compromise.

Many people falsely believe they can live off the grid, out of sight, and undetected when times of trouble come. While it’s true that many are totally unprepared for such times, many others are not as “hidden” or offline as they would like to believe, and many of their preparations will be of no use when those times fully come. Yes, you can be reasonably prepared for rough times, but there are things that require being deeper in something much greater.

Today, Bob poses the uncomfortable question of what the most important thing in your life is. If the program, “Truth to Ponder” vanished tomorrow, would you miss the news content? What about the “Faith” content? Unfortunately for many, politics and news are more important than faith and family content. It’s ;time for a change.

Mainstream news has been on the journalistic decline for decades. Facts don’t matter, only ideology. Truth is a casualty which is subservient to an agenda. Sadly, even so-called “Conservative” outlets are tainted by clickbait frauds and snake oil salesman. Today, Bob shares some ideas on what can we do to ensure our news is trustworthy.
