There is no doubt in most clear-thinking people’s minds that the world is on a date with destiny. Sadly, many are too blind to see it. Christians need to become more discerning. Bob winds up this week with a mix of news stories that point toward a time of change and a time of concern.

The world of the past 4+ years has been a time of profound change, most of it bad. Since the end of August 2020, this program has been a “Watchman on the Wall” warning people to repent and prepare. Have people heeded the call? Is it time to change direction and focus on preparing the “Bride of Christ” for the turbulent times ahead? Bob shares his thoughts going forward.

These past few months have been a tumultuous time here in the United States and even throughout the world. Christians try to find answers, but often miss the power of prayer in their daily lives and even in the church. Today, as Bob thinks of the powerful storm aiming for Florida, the slow recovery from Hurricane Helene in much of the Southeast, plus the political ungodliness that permeates Washington, DC, we may be at a breaking point where prayer is the ONLY answer in our time.

Between Hurricane Helene and the now-threatening Hurricane Milton, the southeastern part of the United States has seen its share of destruction and peril. In addition, the failure of our Federal Government to meet these challenges is literally criminal. Why is this happening, and is any of this God’s judgment? Bob explores that and more on this episode. He also warns how this storm may impact being on shortwave in the future.

There is a vacuum of information regarding the situation on the ground in the areas affected by Hurricane Helene. That can cause a serious problem of people inventing “backstories” to fill in the gap. How do you discern which is true, which is false, or which is embellished? It’s not easy. Bob shares his thoughts and what he knows to be true and what we can safely assume is true.

There is so much spinning in the world today. Unrest in the Middle East, the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, and some extremely alarming stories coming out from there, plus the systematic destruction of the Nuclear Family. Former advisor to President Clinton, Rahm Emanuel, once said, “Don’t let a good crisis go to waste.” Are we living in a time of both natural and made-created crises? Are they being exploited to exert more control over every aspect of our lives? Bob shares his thought on connecting those dots.

These past couple of weeks, let alone the past several years, have been a rollercoaster, to say the least. There is such turmoil in our land, unrest in the hearts of many, and a weariness of the spirit that permeates our daily lives. Today, bob looks at some of the news stories dominating our news cycle, but then spends time explaining what we’re seeing in the light of God’s Word. What does is all mean?

With the recent hurricane impacting the southeastern United States, many stories are swirling on the Internet. Some are true, some are partly true, but many are fake. Whether the story is about the weather, the economy, or politics, a “Fifth Generation Warfare” plays out that deceives many. Bob explains why.
