Mark and I finish up our discussion on church 1.0/2.0 and all current church culture related issues.

In light of current events, Mark and I process though what is happening in our western Charismatic church culture right now. We tie in our previous conversations about the Pulpit, gathering, discipleship and ministry to show the correlation of how we could have gotten here. Although we have no concrete solutions, we hope that this conversation, like all of them causes you to think, ask questions, and consider how you can create authentic biblical community.

Mark and I get into the history of the Pulpit, and how over years of church culture the sermon, Pulpit, and Ministry have led to the degradation of people, and intimate community. We talk bout current topics related to ministry and what the purpose of communal gathering was supposed to look like.

Mark and I talk about modern day church discipleship, this concept of creating culture in a person and how we have made it impersonal. W break down what it looks like when you take discipleship from a building classroom setting and transfer it to the home, starting at the dinner table. We give testimony and examples of how intimacy in relationship, and proximity create opportunities for organic discipleship and lasting change.

and accountability in the context of the first century church, and the current day model that we operate from. We look at the damage does and talk about what it could look like if we got back to the original structure of the book of Acts church.
