  • Church, Be There
Church, Be There! Exodus 24:12 — Choctaw County Revival 2026 "Come up to Me on the mountain and be there…" This message emphasizes the importance of being exactly where God has called us to be, remaining connected, committed, and in communication with Him so that He can accomplish His purposes in and through our lives. Drawing from Exodus 24, where God invited Moses to come up the mountain and wait in His presence before receiving His instructions, the message reveals that our public ministry FOR the Lord must flow from our private moments WITH the Lord. Moses remained where God appointed him, even when six days passed before the Lord called him from the cloud, demonstrating that faithful obedience requires trusting God's timing rather than demanding immediate answers. Through personal illustrations of marriage, hunting, athletics, and the nurturing of young birds, the message highlights the necessity of abiding in Jesus, recognizing that spiritual strength and fruitfulness come from our dependence upon Him rather than our own abilities. Just as a branch cannot bear fruit apart from the vine, believers cannot accomplish anything of eternal value independently of Christ. We must be with Jesus before we can effectively serve for Jesus. Proverbs 16:3 provides a central principle: "Commit your works to the LORD, and your thoughts will be established." This truth connects with Romans 12:1–2, calling believers to surrender their lives as living sacrifices and allow God to transform their thinking rather than conforming to the world's patterns. The message emphasizes that the world is shaped by what it experiences, but the redeemed are to be transformed by the God who leads

  • John 19:1-18 – The Ignorant People Who Sent Jesus to the Cross
The word ignorant is often used to describe annoying people whose actions cause life to become less enjoyable. It could be an ignorant driver who cuts in front of us during our drive to work. It could be a politician who supports policies that do more harm than good. Or it could be someone who talks with confidence without really knowing what they are talking about. Ignorant people will always be with us, but they can be helped when someone tells them the truth. In today's message, we will see three groups of people who were ignorant about Jesus. Their ignorance led to actions that caused a lot of problems. But despite their ignorance, God used what happened to accomplish His greater plan for the world.

  • Christian Gratitude: How to Cultivate a Thankful Heart
Are you struggling with discouragement and wondering how to cultivate a thankful heart in the midst of difficult circumstances? In this episode, Dr. Josh Philpot and Pastor Richard Caldwell open a Colossians 3 devotional to reveal that biblical thankfulness involves our volition and obedience. Giving thanks to God requires an accurate recognition of His immense goodness, beginning with our salvation and adoption in Christ. We learn how to have a thankful heart through intentional reflection and meditation on the truth, remembering God's benefits as commanded in Psalm 103. Pastor Caldwell warns against the dangerous traps of inattentiveness, presumption, and misappropriating our blessings, which kill Christian gratitude. By trusting God through trials, acknowledging that He works all things together for our good, we discover that thanksgiving is fundamentally an expression of faith that brings true joy.

  • No Eye, No Ear, No Heart…
No Eye, No Ear, No Heart Remembering His Righteousness: Waiting, Loving, and Walking in His Ways Isaiah 64:4–5 | 1 Corinthians 2:6–9 | Numbers 25 and 31 | Micah 6 This message emphasizes the necessity of remembering God's righteousness, waiting upon His direction, and walking faithfully in His prescribed ways. Drawing from Isaiah 64 and 1 Corinthians 2, we see that God reveals Himself and His wisdom to those who wait upon Him, love Him, and treasure His ways. What the natural eye cannot see, the ear cannot hear, and the human heart cannot comprehend, the Spirit of God reveals to those who belong to Him. Waiting upon the Lord is not passive inactivity but an active expression of love, trust, remembrance, and obedience. Those who truly love Him will seek Him, listen to Him, and follow Him. Through the examples of Abraham and Phinehas, the message establishes that genuine faith is never separated from faithful action. Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Phinehas acted in zeal for God's holiness, and his faithfulness was likewise accounted to him for righteousness. One emphasizes believing, while the other demonstrates doing, but both reveal the same essential truth: When we genuinely believe God, what we believe changes how we behave. Christ-centered faith is more than acknowledging who Jesus is; it is becoming like Him in the way we see, think, live, and love. Ultimately, who and what we believe determine who and what we are becoming. The message also warns against altering God's prescribed way of life. Just as Israel could not change God's instructions concerning the manna without suffering the consequences, we cannot make seemingly mi

  • The Wrath of God Revealed
In Romans 1:18, Paul declares that God's wrath is revealed against all ungodliness and unrighteousness. Dave Jenkins explains God's holy opposition to sin, humanity's suppression of truth, and why every sinner needs salvation in Christ. This message calls listeners to humility and repentance while pointing to Jesus, who bore the judgment sinners deserve. Those who trust in Christ are forgiven, justified, reconciled to God, and saved from His wrath. • Christian's Burden Removed At the Sight of the Cross
Welcome to today's episode, where we trace one of the most profound and comforting truths in the Christian life: the vital distinction between saving faith and the full enjoyment of assurance. Drawing from John Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress, we explore Christian's journey from passing through the Wicket Gate to the climactic moment at the Cross where his heavy burden finally rolls away into the empty tomb. Guided by Westminster Larger Catechism Q. 81 and the classic pastoral insights of Thomas Ridgley, Thomas Brooks, Thomas Goodwin, John Owen, and Richard Sibbes, we confront modern misunderstandings—including the polemical debate between Dr. Joel Beeke and David Engelsma—to show why full assurance is not the immediate essence of faith, but a precious fruit grown over time. Join us as we consider Goodwill's tender counsel to be content to bear our burdens until the place of deliverance, offering deep encouragement to every "bruised reed" and "smoking flax" looking away from their own fragile feelings and fixing their eyes on the finished work of Jesus Christ.
