  • Raising Joshua Men
On this Let's Talk Pastor Rocky Stevenson of Benoni Bible Church, is joined with Kevin Swanson from Generations Media Network in the USA, and they emphasise the urgent need for Christian men to embrace spiritual strength and courage in the face of cultural decline. Drawing from the book of Joshua, it calls fathers to lead their households with decisive faith and to actively engage in a worldview battle against secular humanism. The discussion highlights the breakdown of family and society due to a loss of biblical manhood, urging men to reject comfort and instead fight for the kingdom of God. It encourages the raising of the next generation through intentional discipleship and father-son mentorship. Ultimately, the podcast asserts that true strength comes from relying on God's presence to stand firm in truth and love.

  • Spiritual Maturity
This devotional explores the concept of spiritual maturity by contrasting infantile reliance on basic truths with the capacity for discernment found in solid food. It argues that true growth is not merely an accumulation of doctrinal knowledge but the practical application of biblical principles through constant practice. The preacher emphasizes that God desires hearts conformed to Christ's image rather than heads filled with contradictory facts. Spiritual maturity is evidenced by the fruit of the Spirit, particularly love for God and neighbor, which flows from a life of obedience. Ultimately, believers are assured that God's grace actively works to persevere in their growth until they reach final salvation.

  • Rediscovering God's Word
Scripture can be neglected, forgotten, and overlooked, even among God's people. When the Book of the Law was found, King Josiah humbled himself, listened to its message, and led the nation in repentance and renewed obedience. We too must open the Bible with new desire, allowing God's Word to expose our sin, restore our worship, and guide our lives. When we rediscover Scripture, we rediscover God's truth, holiness, mercy, and call to faithful living.

  • Recognizing and Resisting Subtle False Teaching
False teaching does not always openly deny the gospel. It can sound biblical while quietly distorting the truth of God's Word. In this episode, Dave Jenkins examines Acts 17:11 and the example of the Bereans, who eagerly received teaching while searching the Scriptures to test what they heard. Biblical discernment is neither cynical nor gullible. It is the loving and necessary practice of measuring every spiritual claim by God's sufficient and authoritative Word. Christians are called to know Scripture deeply, evaluate teaching carefully, and remain connected to a biblically faithful local church. The best defense against false teaching is not becoming an expert in every error. It is becoming so grounded in the true gospel of Jesus Christ that error is recognized when it appears. • Immersed
Immersed 1 Corinthians 10:1–13 | Romans 6:1–11 | Numbers Central Truth: Baptism does not save us. It publicly declares that we have personally trusted Jesus Christ, been united with Him in His death and resurrection, and received newness of life through Him. This message explores the meaning of believer's baptism through Israel's wilderness journey, the saving work of Jesus Christ, and the personal testimony of a life transformed by His grace. Paul reminds the Corinthians that all Israel experienced God's deliverance from Egypt, passed through the sea, and received His supernatural provision. Yet many remained in unbelief. They were delivered out of Egypt, but Egypt had not been delivered out of their hearts. Their experience illustrates that belonging to a religious community or family does not replace personal faith in the Lord. Paul describes Israel as being baptized into Moses, identifying them with God's appointed leader. Yet Moses, despite his faithfulness, could not redeem their souls. He pointed toward the greater Mediator, Jesus Christ, who alone can save sinners. Romans 6 reveals the extraordinary reality of salvation: believers are united with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. Water baptism visibly portrays this spiritual reality. Going beneath the water pictures death and burial with Christ, while rising from the water pictures resurrection and the newness of life He provides. The message emphasizes that baptism is an act of obedience, not the source of salvation. Paul's distinction between preaching the gospel and administering baptism in 1 Corinthians 1:17 demonstrates the importance of placing our confidence in Christ rather than a rel

  • 7 Kingdom Evers
7 Kingdom Evers Message Summary This message emphasizes that God has given His people something more valuable than silver, gold, or any earthly treasure: the wisdom and truth of His Word. Proverbs 22:17–21 reveals that the purpose of receiving God's instruction is to establish our trust in Him, transform the way we live, and equip us to share His truth with others. Using Caleb's testimony in Joshua 14 (Numbers 13-14), the message illustrates the importance of having an "ever-since moment"—a defining encounter with God's Word that produces enduring faith. Forty-five years after God made His promise, Caleb was still trusting, waiting, and ready to act upon what the Lord had spoken. His confidence was not in his circumstances or personal strength but in the faithfulness of God. From Proverbs 22:17–21, the message identifies seven enduring characteristics that should continually shape the lives of God's redeemed people. The Seven Kingdom Evers • Ever Leaning: Trust the Lord wholeheartedly rather than depending upon our own understanding. Everything we learn should deepen our dependence upon Jesus. • Ever Learning: Remain teachable throughout life, continually growing in the knowledge and application of God's truth. • Ever Listening: Keep our ears attentive to God's instruction. When we stop listening to His Word, we begin drifting from wisdom. • Ever Longing: Cultivate an appetite for God's Word, recognizing that His wisdom nourishes and sustains our spiritual lives. • Ever Loving: Treasure God's truth as more valuable than earthly riches, allowing our affection for His Word to shape our love for others. • Ever Living: Put God's instruction into practice. • The Battlefield Letter
This sermon introduces the book of Jude as a critical 'battlefield letter' for the last days, urging believers to earnestly contend for the faith against rising apostasy. The speaker traces the historical and theological context of Jude, highlighting his identity as a humble servant of Christ and his connection to the early church leadership, including his brother James. Key themes include the danger of false teachers who pervert grace into licentiousness, illustrated by biblical examples such as Israel, Sodom, and Korah. The message emphasizes a dual mandate: to defend the truth with conviction while simultaneously exercising compassion to rescue those caught in deception. The sermon concludes with the assurance that God preserves believers from falling, enabling them to stand faultless before His glory with exceeding joy. Questions: Why is Jude called a battlefield letter for the last days? What does Jude mean by "earnestly contend for the faith"? Was Jude the half-brother of Jesus? Why does Jude call himself a servant of Jesus instead of His brother? When did James and Jude become believers in Jesus? Was Antiochus Epiphanes a prototype of the Antichrist? What does Jude teach about apostasy in the last days? How should Christians contend for truth without losing compassion for people? What does "some have compassion, making a difference" mean in Jude 22? What does "Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling" mean? Did the resurrection change Jesus' brothers from unbelievers into believers? Why did the risen Jesus personally appear to James? How did James the brother of Jesus die? How did Jude the brother of Jesus die? Was Jude's real name Judas?

  • Christ The Antidote
This sermon examines Romans 1:24-32, presenting God's judicial response to humanity's rejection of the Creator as a sovereign act of abandonment rather than active punishment. The central theme is the 'foolish exchange' where humans trade divine truth for lies and natural order for unnatural desires, resulting in moral and spiritual degradation. By comparing this passage to the golden calf incident in Exodus, the message illustrates that idolatry inevitably leads to a breakdown of social and physical order, a pattern that remains consistent throughout history. The preacher argues that God's wrath is demonstrated by handing rebels over to the tyranny of their own lusts, a concept supported by the Greek term *paradidōmi* and the example of Christ's delivery for our justification. While acknowledging the severity of the sins described, the sermon concludes with the hope found in the gospel, urging believers to look to Christ as the ultimate antidote to sin and the source of eternal glory.
