This year, we're doing Lent in COMMUNITY - starting March 2nd. But what is lent, and where does it come from? Lent is a "40-day" period (skipping Sundays) leading up to Resurrection Sunday, where Christians focus on remembering the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. During Lent, people usually fast something special to them to prepare their hearts and minds for Resurrection Sunday. This fast and time period is to reflect on the 40-days that Jesus spent in the wilderness before He went into ministry (Matthew 4:1-11). So, in honor of Matthew 4, we are sharing a clip from the "Catching Feelings: Facts v. Feelings v. Truth" episode.

You may recall our recent conversation with The Moores on The Walters' couch. Today we are diving into our first faith journey story with 1/2 of The Moores, Shirley X. Moore.
As most of you have most likely been experiencing, the last few years in the pandemic has stretched our faith and taught us lessons we will never forget. We are talking about hustle-culture, rest, and a God that never forsakes us.
Let's get right into today's conversation!

Join us as we finish the third and final step of the F.R.E.E.D.O.M. Method, where we are optimizing and making it happen!
You may have heard of S.M.A.R.T. goals, but today, we are discussing R.E.A.D.Y. goals.
S.M.A.R.T. goals have the tendency to make you feel trapped in a world of “shoulds” and when goals don’t get accomplished, you can feel like a failure. In truth, the goals were created in a framework that doesn't account for life and change (which I know we are all experiencing a great amount of).
R.E.A.D.Y. goals are designed to work for you while encouraging you to achieve all you've wanted, at the right time and in the right ways.
Get ready to learn ways to clarify your priorities through the R.E.A.D.Y. Set Aim Fire framework and define WHO you will be as opposed to WHAT you will do - all while making your goals happen.

We are on Part 2 of the F.R.E.E.D.O.M. Method where we are reflecting and evaluating how this past year went. Was it all that we intended? Are there things we want to keep and things we want to throw away?
Understanding where we have been can help us identify where we want to go and how we can achieve all the things that God has in store for us.
I wanted to give this to you all a little earlier than usual so hopefully you can spend New Year's Eve digging deep. The next and final installment will be published on Jan. 14th.

The Christmas Story is nothing but Truths and Promises fulfilled.
Take a listen as we read through Matthew 1:18-25 & 2 and Luke 2 to hear the truth behind the Christmas story. We pray that this blesses you.
Be sure to share with a friend, it may surprise you how many people haven't heard this story yet. This is the beginning of the Gospel that we are charged, as Christians, to GO & share with all we know. Remember, Jesus is the reason for this season.
Merry Christmas!

As we approach a new year, we are all thinking about the possibilities of what's to come. For most, this involves some sort of planning and for others, this can be coupled with a vision board.
While Shekinah's approach to vision setting may not include a board full of photos that represent what she wants to achieve, it does include the intentional seeking of what brings her joy and what God is calling her to do.
Introducing the F.R.E.E.D.O.M. Method.
In this episode, in addition to talking about identifying our purpose, we are tackling the first step of the method, F: Free Write and Visualize.
Join us as we prepare for the new year and all the possibilities that await us.
