Who likes to fish?
In many respects it’s a learned skill, from a place of passion for fishing πŸ’š
Jesus was a master in drawing people into relationship with Father God. He told Peter and his followers he would make them fishermen of people. In fact, He told Peter to have a passion, a love for people. To feed them with the truth of the gospel. He invites us to do the same. To go to where the fish are, ready to cast truth in love 🎣
In John 4 Jesus shows all who consider themselves followers of Him, how to 'fish' for people. Pastor Andrew teaches how Jesus' although tired from his journey on route to Galilee, shows us how spiritual maturity and obedience to the Father translates into ministry - even when it's not convenient or goes against cultural norms.
Jesus' interaction with the Samaritan woman, is life-changing on many accounts. We can relate to the humanity of Jesus and our need for living water in Christ.
