Don't let this TRX program scare you off! This week we introduce HIIT training to the repertoire using the Tabata training method. “Tabata” is the particular type of workout program that provides similar health benefits to that of cardio workouts, but Tabata has a bit more spice. The basic outline of the Tabata training method are as follows:

  • 4 minutes long
  • 20 seconds of intense training
  • 10 seconds of rest
  • Total of 8 sets

    • TRX Jump Squat
  • TRX Balance Lunge (R)
  • TRX Jump Squat
  • TRX Balance Lunge (L)
  • TRX Jump Squat

  • TRX Jump Squat
  • TRX Balance Lunge (L)
  • Rest - 1 Minute

    Round 2 - 4 Minutes (Alternate between the two exercises)

    • TRX Crunch
  • TRX Pushups
  • Rest - 1 Minute

    Round 3 - 4 Minutes (Alternate between the two exercises)

    • TRX Hamstring Curl
  • TRX Hip Press
  • Rest - 1 Minute

    Round 4 - 4 Minutes (Alternate between the two exercises)

    • TRX Tricep Press
  • TRX Chest Press
  • Rest - 1 Minute

    Round 5 - 4 Minutes (Alternate between the two exercises)

    • TRX Bicep Curl
