This episode is all about summertime plans, travel, The Needlepoint Shoppe, and everything that comes with this time of year. Beach talk, school being out, summer heat, beauty upkeep, and the usual TRY Podcast side roads all made it in.
There is also a full taste-test moment when coconut jelly drinks and cherry Slushie almonds get brought in, which sends the conversation straight into Willy Wonka territory. Between the weird textures, the gelatinous drinks, and the plump comments, this one goes exactly where you would expect and nowhere you would predict.
Brooke is firmly against the hot weather, the girls are choosing fall and winter clothes over summer clothes every time, and Jason is fully on the other side, ready to cook in the heat. Travel plans come up too, including beach trips and summer getaway talk, along with everything else people try to cram into this season.

This episode turns into a pretty solid roast of phrases people need to retire.
From all the feels and hubby to it hurts my mama heart, it is what it is, 6 or 7, and phrases like be so for real, none of it gets a pass. Brooke can at least blame her kids for knowing the Gen Z stuff, but not everybody else gets that excuse.
There is also the usual TRY Podcast side tracking along the way. Jason recaps his New York trip, talks Broadway, shopping, and waiting around hoping to see the Kardashians during the Met because he fully loves them. Brooke talks about The Needlepoint Shoppe in Midvale and how quickly that community is growing.

In this episode, Keelee, Jason, and Brooke talk all about love languages and what actually makes people feel loved in marriage, friendships, and family.
They get into words of affirmation, quality time, physical touch, acts of service, and gifts, and how what people want is not always the same as what they naturally give. The conversation also gets into friendship dynamics, honesty, parenting, personality differences, and why feeling loved can look completely different from one person to the next.

In this episode, Keelee, Jason, and Brooke get into all of their biggest icks and turn-offs.
From tiny things that should not matter but somehow do, to habits, hygiene, posture, socks, sandals, gym behavior, cheapness, bad manners, weird date energy, and all the little things that can instantly ruin the vibe, nothing is safe in this conversation.
Some of these are valid. Some are petty. Some are so specific they should not even count. That did not stop anyone from defending them.

This episode is all about regrets.
We get into the random ones, the funny ones, and the ones that still stick with you. High school moments that got taken the wrong way, tattoos that felt like a good idea at the time, being too unhinged in Vegas, not standing up for yourself sooner, and the kind of stuff that somehow stays in your head way longer than it should.
We also talk about how regret changes with time. Some things are funny now. Some still hurt. Some just make you wish you would have said more, done more, or handled things differently when you had the chance.

This episode is basically an unsolicited advice session with us, which feels dangerous for everyone involved.
We’re talking friendship, marriage, parenting, travel, adult kids, and all the real-life stuff people end up trying to figure out as they go. There are some solid takes, some questionable takes, and a few moments where we probably sound way too sure of ourselves.
We also tried some candy along the way, because giving advice is apparently better with sugar.

New episode of The TRY Podcast is live.
This time we brought in TikTok Shop purchases and tried them on the podcast because apparently none of us can be trusted with saved card info and one-click checkout.
We get into the random stuff TikTok keeps convincing us to buy, the weird shopping phases that make total sense in the moment, and some of the most unnecessary purchases we have ever fully justified. From gummy goldfish and skincare gadgets to music suckers and moving-eye glasses, this episode is exactly what happens when the algorithm knows you a little too well.
There is also the usual side quest energy with Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Bridgerton, old people habits, senior living plans, and a very serious debate about room temperature. So really, this is a pretty accurate picture of where we are at.

This one has a little bit of everything: one truly horrifying road trip story, vacation recaps, Arizona travel chaos, hotel drama, food opinions, mochi donut taste testing, cereal debates, and the kind of group catching up that somehow goes completely sideways in the best way.
The episode starts with one of the wildest Jason stories yet and somehow keeps building from there. From Charleston and Arizona trip recaps to old half marathon memories, fake early check-in drama, white meat versus dark meat chicken, Din Tai Fung comparisons, frosting debates, and surprise mochi donuts, this one is all over the place and very funny the whole way through.
If you’re in Utah, one spot that came up in this episode is Zhu Ting Ji in Taylorsville. If you’ve been wanting a Din Tai Fung-style fix closer to home, it’s definitely worth trying for yourself.
If you like the episodes where everyone is just fully themselves, arguing over food, exposing old stories, and making each other look worse, this is a good one.

This one is basically a perfect summary of being in your 40s: more confidence, less shame, worse sleep, more supplements, random hobbies, and at least one conversation about Botox.
In this episode of The TRY Podcast, the group gets into all the little things that seem to show up in this stage of life. The sleep issues. The beauty maintenance. The hormone talk. The fitness goals that hit a little different now. The shift into caring a whole lot less about what people think. It turns into a very honest and very funny conversation about what actually gets harder, what gets better, and what no one really prepares you for.
They talk about spray tans, Botox, facelifts, tattoos you probably should have thought through a little longer, marathons in your 40s, older kids becoming your favorite people to hang out with, and the random hobbies and business ideas that start making perfect sense at this age. It is one of those episodes that feels like a very real look at what this season of life actually sounds like when you are talking about it with friends.

Married at 18 vs waiting until 30… turns out those paths look very different.
Keelee and Brooke got married young, went through divorce, and had to figure out dating all over again. Jason took the opposite route and didn’t get married until later, which brings a completely different perspective to the conversation.
There are some wild dating stories in here, awkward first dates and Match.com overlap to realizing your “type” changes way more than you expect… and somehow it all leads to realizing dating again sounds terrible 😂
If nothing else, it might make you glad you don’t have to date anymore.
