-When trying to be happy, Heidi prioritized exercise, decreased sugar, focused on the task at hand.
-She reminded herself throughout the day that two things can be true at once: she's still struggling AND she's trying to be happy.
-When getting sad (at a time you don't want to), think of the person you're sad for... think of their strengths or a memory you have of them.
