Everyone is quick to refute being a racist but no one is taking the time to listen, examine their heart, ask for forgiveness and repent.
On this episode, I invited my good friend Noêl Hattingh to discuss the "non-complexities" of race.
If you don’t think you’re racist - you’ll never repent of racism. Having a black friend or colleague does not mean that you’re not racist - we would have to ask them. You cannot vouch for yourself. Your friends of the same race also cannot vouch for you in this regard.
Racism is a global pandemic. We can only fight it united, empowered by the love of Christ. We cannot legislate morality but we can aggressively pray for hearts to repent and turn to God.
Remember, we are spirit beings, not racial beings. We should not be divided by physical characteristics; skin is not eternal.
