TSN's Craig Button says in previous seasons, too much was put on too few Canucks players from an offensive stand point. Craig is not surprised with how the Canucks have started this season because the moves Jim Benning made was going to give the team the opportunity to be a better team.

TSN1040's Jeff Paterson says he was willing to give Michael Ferland the road trip before he started getting concerned with his game but it was a forgettable weekend for Ferland. Jeff says it's unfortunate how the season had started for Ferland as the Canucks definitely had designs of him being more productive.

KJR's Ian Furness says Russell Wilson was not good against Baltimore & the pick six he threw changed the entire direction of the game. Ian also says Lemar Jackson is a slippery runner, finds the holes and runs like a running back but at the same time, a lot of the runs Jackson had were because the defence screwed up.

Travis Lulay says Wally Buono used to say you don't get paid to play, you get paid to win and with playoffs not on the table for the Lions, Travis says it's about the players going out and continuing to put it all on the field to try and win.

TSN's Jamie McLennan says Thatcher Demko is looking more comfortable in net right now. Jamie says Demko's game is quieter than last year and that comes from confidence and working with Ian Clark.

Lions owner David Braley calls this season disappointing and that he is doing a full evaluation of the organization. David also says he is 100% ready to sell the Lions and he has 4-5 interested groups in Vancouver but local ownership has not put up an offer that is acceptable so he's opened it up to others.
