TSN1040's Jeff Paterson says when you think of the Dallas Stars, you think of names like Benn, Seguin and Radulov, but the Stars were one of the best teams in the NHL defensively in the regular season and were able to impose their game on the Nashville Predators.

Rick Westhead discusses his 5-part podcast on the life of the late, former NHLer Steve Durbano. Rick calls Durbano an anti-hero as he went to jail for importing cocaine, was charged with shoplifting and goes to jail another time for operating a brothel. Rick says with this podcast, he tried to get a better understanding who Durbano was, what was behind his decisions and how those decisions impacted the people around him.

Guests include Sara Orlesky and Rick Westhead.

TSN's Sara Orlesky says team defence was an issue all season, in part due to injuries to key players like Dustin Byfuglien and Josh Morrissey. Sara also says you can't discount the fact that that there were 15 free agents on the roster this season and with that, you're dealing with player egos and players playing for new contracts.

Guests include Charles Davis.

Charles Davis says he's not surprised that the Seahawks have agreed to trade DE Frank Clark to the Chiefs. Davis says this is a deep draft for defensive linemen and wouldn't be surprised if the Hawks draft for that position. As for the Chiefs, Davis says this deal makes sense because they lost all their pass rushers in the offseason.
