Farhan Lalji says the Ed Hervey as GM and Wally Buono as coach situation makes sense on a number of levels for the BC Lions

Guests include Jeff Paterson and Ed Hervey.

New BC Lions GM Ed Hervey says the team has good pieces in place, including quarterback Jon Jennings, and says some tweaks are needed to get the team back where it belongs. Ed says he wouldn't have taken the Lions job if he felt Wally Buono would be micro-managing him

Jeff Paterson expects Alex Burmistrov to sit tonight in favour of Nikolay Goldobin, but also thinks Markus Granlund could use a wakeup call and wouldn't be surprised if the former 19-goal scorer sits out. Jeff figures back-to-back starts for Anders Nilsson is a huge opportunity for Nilsson to atone for a poor start vs Islanders

Guests include Jamie McLennan.

Jamie McLennan says Derek Dorsett played a solid two-way game, along with bringing extra toughness to the lineup. Noodles likes New Jersey getting Sami Vatanen from Anaheim, suggesting his game is exactly what the Devils needed

Guests include Ben Kuzma.

Ben Kuzma of the Province Sports says the Canucks are simply not good enough to win if they don't have every player at 100%, unlike some teams in the NHL. Kuz suggests playing Nikolay Goldobin would, at the least, get the notice of some struggling players

Guests include Paul Richardson and Jeff Paterson.

Jeff Paterson suggests a poor game against the Islanders has opened the door for Nikolay Goldobin to play Thursday against Nashville.
