TSN 1040: Donnie & The Moj

Penguins coach Mike Sullivan admits that the huge emotional and physical investment to win the Cup is affecting his team's early-season play.

Guests include Ray Ferraro.

Ray Ferraro says Carey Price looks like he's off the rails, and it's hard for a goalie to get back on track sometimes. Ray isn't nearly as concerned about Patrik Laine's "struggles", suggesting five goals in 12 games isn't too bad

Donnie and The Moj talk to former Whitecaps captain Jay DeMerit ahead of the 'Caps-Sounders match.

Jay DeMerit says the Whitecaps have a great defensive unit and should be able to hold Seattle at bay, to a degree, but the Caps will have to look to score at some point tonight (730, TSN1040)

Donnie and The Moj talk to Jeff Paterson about the lack of Canucks offense.

Jeff Paterson says the Canucks got a nice ten-game burst from secondary players, but now reality is setting in offensively. Jeff says this is when Bo Horvat needs to step up offensively, while also suggesting Henrik Sedin and Ben Hutton are among other players who must produce more

Ben Kuzma of the Province Sports likes the shot attempts from the Canucks, likes the system, they're getting good goaltending, they're working hard, but Kuz also say if you can't score it doesn't matter - as the bottom line is winning.

Donnie and The Moj are joined by Ben Kuzma from the Province and son of "Mr. Hockey" Gordie Howe to talk about his new book.

Guests include Giulio Caravatta.
