TSN1040’s Colin Miller says the Whitecaps will have to be extremely strong mentally to finish these final 11 games on the road (as home games are in Portland). Miller also says Fredy Montero is what the Caps were missing as he has a great eye for goal, sees a pass early & brings players into the ball.

NFL analyst Ross Tucker joined the show.

NFL analyst Ross Tucker says nothing that Russell Wilson does surprises him anymore but what did surprise him was how effected Cam Newton was in the passing game. Ross also says he has a lot of concern with the Hawks pass rush & if they have Super Bowl aspirations, they need to figure the rush out.

Craig Button says Quinn Hughes and Cale Makar play different games but they importance to their respective teams is so similar. Craig says not much separates the two dynamic defencemen, if anything at all.

Seahawks analyst Ian Furness joined the show.

KJR’s Ian Furness says the Seahawks just don’t have a pass rush, can’t get pressure on the quarterback & can’t get off the field. Ian says the battle between D.K. Metcalf & Stephon Gilmore was fantastic & don’t under estimate the importance of Metcalf’s touchdown with Gilmore defending him.

Canadian Golf Hall of Famer Dick Zokol joined the show.

Richard Zokol says in previous US Open tournaments, hitting fairways was everything but with Bryson DeChambeau, accuracy got thrown out the window. Richard says the RNA & USGA have to make a decision – will golf become a slug fest or will they make some technological limitations?

The Athletic’s Thomas Drance believes negotiations with Jacob Markstrom will come down to the 11th hour. Thomas says he’s an essential piece to the Canucks but it’s about finding the right price point & he would be marginally surprised if the deal doesn’t get done before the 11th hour.
