Lou Korac says not having fans probably affecting veteran teams because during the Blues run last year, they fed off not just the home crowd but the hostility of the crowds when on the road. Lou also gives the Canucks for taking advantage of mistakes the Blues made in Game 1.

Paul Dolan says despite the record, the Orlando tournament was a success for the Caps because against all odds, Marc Dos Santos was able to galvanize his players & get them to play for each other. Paul also says the Inbeom transfer to Russia was a positive more because it wasn’t working for him here in Vancouver.

Jeff Paterson says the key match-up he’ll be watching in Game 2 is that of Ryan O’Reilly and Elias Pettersson. Jeff says O’Reilly smothered Pettersson & was able to keep the puck away from him.
