Jason Botchford does not agree with Canucks GM Jim Benning combining both Markus Granlund and Sven Baertschi in the 'need to rebound' category.

Benning has said both players need to take the next step or they could fall by the wayside. Botch says Baertschi was fine last year.

Jason Botchford says Sven Baertschi had a decent season, what you'd expect from him...but also says Baertschi is a piece the Canucks can trade in order to add draft picks. Botch can't understand why a management team that has done so well with its mid-round picks hasn't added more opportunities in later rounds

ESPN's Greg Wyshynski says Taylor Hall was challenged by his head coach and GM to be better this year, and he's taken his game to the next level, which you can really see with the defensive side of his game. Greg also says yes, the Golden Knights could win the Stanley Cup, but doesn't think they're the new favorite to win it like Vegas has them as.

Former NHLer Darcy Tucker says he's proud of the coach Travis Green has become as he's able to talk to the young players, is a great communicator and works hard at making sure his team is very well prepared. Darcy also says Travis grew the worst playoff beard as it was very patchy and he always had to shave it off by the second round of the playoffs
