ESPN's Brady Henderson says it's not the amount of penalties Pete Carroll is frustrated with, as the Seahawks went to back to back Super Bowls having been the most penalized team in the league. Henderson says Carroll hates the pre-snap penalties and all the holding penalties the offensive linemen are taking.

Orange County Register's Eric Stephens says Ducks GM Bob Murray believes they can get by with what they have already in their system but won't rule out a trade to help deal with all their injuries. Stephens says the team is hopeful they'll get Ryan Kesler and Cam Fowler back in the next few weeks.

LA Kings Insider Jon Rosen says the difference with the Kings this year is the fact defencemen are allowed to join the rush and the forwards have more freedom to attack in the offensive zone.
