The title Legend gets thrown around a lot. But in the case of Larry Levan, the renowned DJ from NYCs Paradise Garage and The Loft, it is fitting. The record producer and disco remixer left an indelible void in 1992 when he passed at the age of 38. For those who were fortunate enough to see his prowess in real life, will attest to his legend status. For the rest of us, we can only devour the musical legacy that he left behind. In this episode of TTBA we remember and celebrate Larry on what would have been his 69th birthday by playing some of his finest remix work.
