Having rewatched the beloved teen romantasy flick from her youth, 2002's Tuck Everlasting, Karyn Raynor of Chick-Lit, with Karyn and Aubree, is forced to reckon with its highly problematic (and later stolen) premise in which a 15-year-old girl is groomed by a 104-year-old immortal man in the body of a 17-year-old boy. Poor accents, plot holes, thinly fleshed out lore, and strange choices abound, and the origins of long-running television shows not even remotely related to this property can be traced to this film, so there is tons to discuss. Would Tuck Everlasting's deficiencies sink the film for Karyn on rewatch, or would she still be able to enjoy this weird ride through pre-WWI Stars Hollow--I mean Tree Gap?
