Tuck Rule Takes

Patriots football is finally back!...sorta. The first preseason game of the year is in the books and the guys have a lot to discuss.

It's been a while since the TRT boys got together to discuss the Patriots and there is a LOT to cover. Every training camp storyline is the topic today as well as a quick recap of Al's wedding.

It's a loaded show today. The guys start off with a fun Belichick story before they move into a discussion about superstars opinions on their respective team. Then it's onto yet ANOTHER list where the Patriots rank higher than some would think. Ending with a debate on how analytics is helping or ruining sports.

There's really only one thing any Boston centered sports podcast can discuss right now: Jaylen Brown has been traded to the Sixers.

With Al being out YET AGAIN, Mike and Liam give their Mt. Rushmore of underwhelming Patriots draft picks. But before that, they touch on CBS' Top 100 Player List heading into the 2026 season.

With mandatory OTAs in the books officially and all the TRT boys here, we guys break down all the storylines coming out of camp so far and have some exciting news to START the episode!

Patriots mandatory mini camp is underway! The guys (sans Liam) break down who's there, who isn't and what's been going on.

You see the title. You know what we're here to talk about.

With not much Patriots news to speak of, the TRT boys start in a very predictable place: AJ Brown. Then it's onto this 4 week "gauntlet" the Pats have to start the year. Lastly it's rookie talk!

It's holiday time! As the NFL officially releases its 2026 schedule, the TRT boys discuss. Also, as usual, there's a little AJ Brown news with a dash of Diggs rumors.
