Forward Nathan Smith joins "Voice of the Roadrunners" Adrian Denny and Kim Cota-Robles on this latest edition as he gets ready to return to the desert, talks about his favorite Tucson activities and growing up playing hockey in Florida before Adrian shares some interesting notes from an article on the growth of hockey in the US and players being drafted and playing in the NHL.

In this Special Edition of the Tucson Roadrunners Insider Podcast, we take you back to A Night with Steve Potvin in its entirety as the Roadrunners Head Coach gives an outlook on the upcoming season, takes us into the classroom for some Hockey 101 and answers your fan questions from Wednesday night's event at Rudy's Texas B-B-Q.

Defenseman Michael Kesselring joins Adrian and Jimmy ahead of his first full season in the desert after being acquired by the Coyotes at last season's trade deadline. Accompanied by a furry friend, the 23-year-old retells the story of his NHL debut at Mullett Arena, as well as going against his former team and Connor McDavid. The guys then pay tribute to the last two and a half years of the Insider Podcast.

Adrian and Jimmy are joined by one of the longest tenured members of the Tucson Roadrunners, forward Cameron Hebig. The 26-year-old details where he gets his hockey news from, his new title of "Uncle" and his excitement to return to the desert. The guys then go over the first edition of Dusty's Squares with clues toward a future installment.

Adrian and Jimmy are joined by the longest-tenured Roadrunner from the end of the 2022-23 season, goaltender Ivan Prosvetov. The 24-year-old details his travel from Arizona all the way to his home country of Russia, including what oversized piece of luggage he takes with him. The guys then scroll "X" for the first time, and introduce the listeners to one of their favorite daily games.

Adrian and Jimmy are joined by defenseman Steven Kampfer after he signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Arizona Coyotes on June 20. Kampfer describes his unlikely path to playing collegiate hockey at Michigan, as well as his experience at the 2022 Winter Olympics with future Roadrunners teammate Nathan Smith. The guys then retell their weekend of fun at the Reid Park Zoo and dinner at the Hub in Downtown Tucson.

Adrian and Jimmy are joined by the highly requested Curtis Douglas after his first season in the desert. He describes both living near teammate Ryan McGregor in Ontario and living with him in Tucson during the season. The guys then go on to break down the 2023-24 regular season schedule, as well as the Roadrunners Two-Way Tracker.

Jean-Sebastien Dea joins Adrian and Kim Cota-Robles on this week's fun in the sun edition. JSD talks about everything he loves about being in the desert, his instant connection with Head Coach Steve Potvin and answers our usual "fun questions," plus Kim's. After their special guest, with Jimmy on vacation; Kim and Adrian talk criteria for tipping ride share drivers after late night flights, airplane seating and go down memory lane with a trip to Sea World involving a member of the Coyotes Development Staff in 2006.

In a special episode released early, Adrian and Jimmy are joined by Roadrunners forward Tyson Empey from the PHPA Meetings in Orlando, Florida. Empey looks back at his second year in the desert and tells a story about how his Jeep helped out Adrian in the Tucson Arena parking lot. The guys also look at the 12 draft picks made by the Arizona Coyotes in the 2023 NHL Draft and give a shoutout to the Tucson Arena's NHL Draft Watch Party for the first round.
